Jedi Council Chamber

Profile

The Jedi Council Chamber is the round room at the top of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. The twelve members of the High Council meet there against a panoramic view of the capital.

Function

• Meeting place for strategic and disciplinary decisions.
• Stage for Anakin’s first test and later break with the Order.
• Symbol of the Order’s distance from and closeness to the Republic.

Why it matters

The chamber is a visual anchor of the prequels. Every scene shows how close Jedi politics and the Senate have become.
