Profile

The Jedi Order was an ancient organization of peacekeepers who protected the Galactic Republic for thousands of years. They were masters of the Force and known for their honor, wisdom, and pursuit of balance.

Structure

• Jedi Knights — The fighters of the Order, trained in lightsaber combat
• Jedi Masters — Experienced Jedi who were allowed to train Padawans
• Jedi Council — The highest authority, composed of the wisest masters
• Grand Master — The leader of the Council, traditionally the oldest and wisest Jedi

The Jedi Temple

The Jedi Temple on Coruscant was the spiritual heart of the Order. It stretched across the entire summit of the senatorial hill and housed:

• The Great Hall of Assembly
• The Jedi Library with billions of documents
• Training rooms and meditation chambers
• The graves of the Grand Masters

The Code of Conduct

A Jedi swears:

• There is no emotion, there is peace
• There is no ignorance, there is knowledge
• There is no passion, there is serenity
• There is no chaos, there is harmony
• There is no death, there is the Force
