Umbara Arc

Definition

The Umbara Arc is a darker The Clone Wars storyline where clone soldiers under General Pong Krell are pushed to their moral limits.

Why it matters

Umbara shows that clones are not just order-takers. Rex and his brothers must decide when obedience becomes guilt.

Context

The arc sharpens the core Clone Wars theme: the Republic claims to defend freedom while relying on an army whose autonomy is systematically limited.
