Clone Troopers

Profile

Clone troopers were the soldiers of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Grown on Kamino from Jango Fett’s template, they looked uniform but developed distinct identities in the field.

Function

They let Star Wars tell a war story with personal stakes: soldiers serve Jedi generals, build friendships and still become the mechanism of Order 66.

Why it matters

Clone troopers turn the prequels from political setup into tragedy. They are both the heroic face of the Republic and the tool that destroys the Jedi Order.
