Overview

Scarif is a tropical planet on the Outer Rim, home to an Imperial facility containing the architectural plans for the Death Star.

The Imperial Archive

The Empire built a top-secret data vault on Scarif, storing sensitive information including the Death Star schematics.

Rogue One

The Rebellion sent a strike team led by Jyn Erso to steal the Death Star plans. In a desperate battle, the team succeeded but few survived.

The Signal

The stolen data was transmitted to the Rebel fleet, setting up the events of A New Hope.

Legacy

Scarif showed that even in the face of overwhelming odds, hope can prevail. The sacrifice of the Rogue One team became legendary.
