Definition
Purge troopers are Imperial special units that work with the Inquisitors to hunt Jedi survivors and other Force-sensitive targets.
Where they appear
In Jedi: Fallen Order/Survivor and Obi-Wan Kenobi they appear as armored, lightsaber-resistant soldiers optimized for fighting individual Jedi.
Why it matters
The unit shows that the Empire fields more than clones and ordinary stormtroopers. It builds dedicated anti-Jedi tech — a visible consequence of Order 66.
