Nihil

Definition

The Nihil are anarchic raiders from the High Republic era. They attack trade routes, frontier worlds and Jedi convoys while using unusual hyperspace paths that make normal Republic defenses hard to predict.

Context

Unlike the Sith or Separatists, the Nihil are not a traditional state power. Their strength comes from shock raids, cell structures and the feeling that the Outer Rim has been abandoned by Coruscant. Marchion Ro turns that loose violence into a strategic threat.

Why it matters

The Nihil prove the High Republic is not just a bright Jedi utopia. They turn optimism into vulnerability: the farther the Republic expands, the more attack surfaces it creates.
