The Nameless are rare creatures from the High Republic era that specifically target Force-sensitive beings. They warp perception, memory and the user’s bond with the Force, leaving Jedi caught in visions, doubt and paralysis.

Context

Where the Sith use the dark side, the Nameless are not classical Force users. They are a biological threat that attacks the Jedi self-image: not with lightsabers, but by dissolving certainty, order and inner clarity.

Why it matters

The Nameless give the High Republic its real horror. They explain why Jedi suffer losses in this era that pure strength cannot solve, and they set up themes that resonate later in Andor, The Acolyte and Filoni-led stories.
