Knights of Ren

Definition

The Knights of Ren are an order of dark Force users led by Kylo Ren. They are not Sith: no strict Rule of Two, no signature lightsabers, and their tradition predates Snoke.

Members

• Kylo Ren — leader, lightsaber wielder
• Vicrul, Cardo, Trudgen, Ushar, Kuruk, Ap’lek — six personal guards

Role in the sequels

In The Rise of Skywalker they appear as Kylo’s bodyguards and are cut down by him — now Ben Solo — the moment he chooses the light side.

Why they matter

The Knights of Ren prove the dark side is broader than the Sith. There are — and were — Force mercenaries without master-apprentice structure.
