Captain Rex

Definition

Captain Rex is a clone officer of the 501st Legion and one of the most important perspectives on the Clone Wars.

Why he matters

Rex combines military professionalism with real friendship toward Anakin, Ahsoka and his brothers. Through him, the clone army becomes human and politically readable.

Order 66

His bond with Ahsoka makes Order 66 especially painful. Rex visibly fights the order before Ahsoka and the trail left by Fives give him a way back.
