Asajj Ventress

Definition

Asajj Ventress is Dooku’s dark apprentice and one of the most complex figures of the Clone Wars.

Development

Ventress begins as a Sith weapon, but after Dooku’s betrayal she becomes a survivor with her own agenda. Her path connects Jedi, Sith, bounty hunters and Nightsisters.

Why she matters

She shows that the dark side is not only masters and apprentices. Ventress exposes how many characters live between ideology, trauma and self-determination.
