The Nightsisters are a female clan from Dathomir who use the dark side through ancestral magick rather than classic Sith doctrine.

Practice

They bind spirits, manipulate dead bodies and treat the Force as a living tradition tied to Dathomir’s ichor, clans and ancestors.

Conflict with the Sith

Where the Sith follow a master-and-apprentice structure, the Nightsisters draw power from the clan. That makes them stronger collectively and gives Star Wars a different kind of dark-side culture.
