Togruta

Profile

Togruta come from Shili and are recognizable by montrals plus three head-tails. The montrals support spatial awareness, which helps their dynamic movement feel believable.

Key figures

• Ahsoka Tano: Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan and later independent Force user.
• Shaak Ti: Jedi Master and defender of Kamino.
• Stass Allie: Jedi Master of the late Republic.

Culture

Togruta traditionally live in communities where group hunting, pattern recognition and social bonding matter. That background echoes through Ahsoka’s team instincts in The Clone Wars.

Why they matter

Because of Ahsoka, Togruta may be the most important non-human species in modern Star Wars television.
