Sith Code
Definition
The Sith Code is the mirror image of the Jedi Code. It centres conflict, desire and personal power.
Wording
Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.
What it really says
The Code does not celebrate chaos for its own sake but the escalation of personal power. Anyone who stops pursuing their own desire is considered weak.
The Rule of Two
Darth Bane fuses the Code with the Rule of Two: one master, one apprentice, always ready to overthrow. Palpatine is the final form of that idea.
Contrast with the Jedi Code
Where the Jedi Code controls bonds, the Sith Code celebrates them. Full breakdown on the Light vs Dark Side page.
Fan relevance
Once you internalise the Sith Code, Maul, Dooku, Vader and Kylo Ren become variations of the same question: how far will you go to never feel powerless again?
