Sith-Doktrin
Rule of One (Sidious)
Reading time: 5 min
Definition
The Rule of One is Palpatine’s personal extension of Sith doctrine. It says: in the end, only one truly rules — and the apprentice is a tool, not an heir.
Consequences
In this view Vader, Maul, Dooku, Snoke and the Inquisitors are not partners but stepping stones. Palpatine does not plan a handover, he plans permanent control.
Why it matters
The Rule of One explains why Palpatine constantly clones and rotates candidates. It is the logic behind Episode IX and the Mando era at the same time.
