The Nightsisters (also known as the Witches of Dathomir) were a coven of magic-wielding females from the planet Dathomir. They manipulated the dark side of the Force through the form of green “magick” (ichor).

Abilities

Unlike the Sith, they did not rely purely on rage, but utilized ritualistic spells, necromancy, and illusions. Led by Mother Talzin, their power was immense: they could resurrect the dead as zombie armies, cast voodoo-like curses, and magically empower warriors such as Savage Opress.

Annihilation

During the Clone Wars, Mother Talzin openly defied Count Dooku and Darth Sidious. In retaliation, General Grievous was dispatched with a droid army and massacred nearly the entire cult. A handful of survivors—including Asajj Ventress, Merrin, and Morgan Elsbeth—scattered across the galaxy to carry on their legacy.
