Jensaarai

Definition

In Star Wars Legends, the Jensaarai are a Force tradition that blends elements of Jedi and Sith teaching without fully aligning with either side.

Origin

The order grows out of misread Jedi and Sith texts. Its members see themselves as defenders, often wear armor-like attire and learn techniques drawn from both traditions.

Canon vs. Legends

The Jensaarai are not part of the current Disney canon. They remain a popular reference in fan debates about gray Jedi, alternative Force orders and the limits of Jedi orthodoxy.

Why it matters

If you enjoy Legends content, the Jensaarai show how big Star Wars can be beyond Jedi and Sith — and why those debates still shape modern fan discussions.
