Definition
The inhibitor chip is a biological implant inside every clone. Under Order 66 it suppresses free will and triggers the hunt for all Jedi.
Discovery
Fives uncovers the chip in The Clone Wars (season 6) and dies before he can warn Anakin.
Removal
Rex, Wolffe and Gregor remove their chips. Hunter and Omega help other clones shut the system down.
