Profile

The High Republic era was a golden age for the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order, occurring roughly 500 to 100 years before the Skywalker Saga (Episode I).

The Era of Light

During this epoch, the Republic was at the height of peaceful expansion. The Jedi served not as soldiers, but as galactic protectors and explorers. The construction of the Starlight Beacon in the Outer Rim was meant to bring the light of the Republic to the frontiers of the galaxy.

The Threat

The era was defined by new, deadly enemies, most notably the Nihil — brutal, anarchistic marauders led by Marchion Ro. Their unpredictable hyperspace tactics (triggering the Great Hyperspace Disaster) and terrifying beasts plunged the galaxy into a new age of uncertainty and conflict.
