Echani

Definition

In Star Wars Legends, the Echani are a humanoid culture that treats martial arts as language and self-knowledge.

Combat as conversation

For Echani, a duel is more than violence. Movement, timing and reactions reveal personality, intent and truth, which makes Echani fighters feel disciplined, precise and almost meditative.

Knights of the Old Republic connection

The Echani became widely known through Knights of the Old Republic II, where their philosophy and combat technique shape several characters and fan discussions about identity.

Why it matters

The Echani are not canon heavyweights, but they remain a beloved Legends topic for fans of the Old Republic, martial arts and alternative galactic cultures.
