BB-8 was Poe Dameron’s loyal astromech droid and one of the most beloved characters of the Sequel Trilogy. His spherical body and brave spirit instantly made him a fan favorite.

Appearance

BB-8 had a spherical body that could roll independently of his head — a unique design that became popular through the films. He had a distinctive orange-and-white coloration.

History

BB-8 accompanied Poe Dameron on many missions — and when Poe was captured, BB-8 escaped with the schematics of Starkiller Base. He found Rey and became her companion.
