The Battle of Endor (4 ABY) was the decisive turning point of the Galactic Civil War. The Rebel Alliance destroyed the Second Death Star and defeated the Emperor, leading to the collapse of the Galactic Empire.

Events

A Rebel strike team led by Han Solo disabled the battle station’s shield generator on the forest moon below, aided by the native Ewoks. Simultaneously, the Rebel fleet under Admiral Ackbar and Lando Calrissian engaged the Imperial fleet in space. Aboard the Death Star, Luke Skywalker redeemed his father Darth Vader, who destroyed Emperor Palpatine just before the station was blown up.
