Aldhani heist

Definition

The Aldhani heist is the first large operation in Andor: a small cell robs the Imperial garrison on Aldhani to fund the rebellion. The plan uses the rare Eye of Aldhani phenomenon as cover.

Importance

The heist shows how expensive professional resistance is: patience, scouting, local help — and casualties. Aldhani is not only a successful raid; it is also a test of whether Cassian can really be part of a movement.

Why it matters

Aldhani gives the rebellion a financial base for further moves and forces the Empire to harden its sentencing laws. That escalation is a direct setup for Narkina 5 and Ghorman.
