Profile
The Vulture Droid (officially Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droid, Mark I) is the CIS standard droid-piloted starfighter.
Geometry
In flight the four wings spread into an X profile. On the ground it folds up and walks on two legs like a giant beetle — classic Star Wars “form follows function” design.
Mass-deployed
Like the B1: weak alone, unstoppable in swarms. You can read most CIS battles by the cloud of Vulture droids surrounding the Republic fleet.
Why it matters
The Vulture is the air support of the Banking Clan. Visually one of the best CIS designs in the saga.
