Super Star Destroyer
Overview
The Super Star Destroyer (SSD), officially designated as the Executor-class, was one of the most feared weapons of the Galactic Empire. With a length of 17-19 kilometers, it dwarfed conventional Star Destroyers and served as the flagship of the most powerful Imperial commanders.

- Length: 17,600 meters (Executor-class)
- Armament: 2,000+ Turbolasers, 2,000+ Ion Cannons
- Shields: Heavy Deflector Shield Array
- Crew: 37,000 crew, 10,000 troops
- Fighters: 150+ TIE Fighters
- Propulsion: Hyder Drive / Ion Engines
The Executor Class
The Executor-class was specifically designed for use as a flagship. The ship could intimidate entire fleets simply through its sheer presence and firepower. The bridge served as a command center for entire sectors.
History
The first Super Star Destroyer, the Executor itself, was constructed under Lord Vader’s supervision. It served as flagship during the Battle of Hoth and was deployed during the Battle of Endor, where it was severely damaged in a collision with a Star Destroyer.
Combat Capability
A single Super Star Destroyer could take out a small fleet through its firepower and size alone. The massive turbolaser batteries could bombard planetary surfaces, and the TIE fighter squadrons provided superior air support.
