The T-47 Snowspeeder is the Rebellion’s atmospheric repulsorlift fighter on Hoth.
Hoth
Rogue Squadron uses snowspeeders to tangle the Empire’s AT-AT walkers by the legs — the famous tow-cable manoeuvre brings the first walkers down.
Conversion
Originally a civilian cargo speeder. The Rebellion bolted on lasers and a rear gunner pod to military-grade it. Classic Rebel “make do, make better”.
Why it matters
The snowspeeder is the symbol of the Battle of Hoth — and proof that the Rebellion can crack apparently unstoppable Imperial hardware with creative tactics.
