U-Wing
Reading time: 4 min
Profile
The U-Wing is the Rebel Alliance’s troop transport — gun slot, swing-wing mechanic, armoured belly.
Role
It carries the Rogue One team to Jedha and Scarif. It is not a classic starfighter — it’s a troop transport with firepower.
Why it matters
It expands the X-Wing-only Rebel image with a vital logistical piece: no U-Wings, no ground operations.
