Overview
The J-type 327 Nubian royal starship is the distinctive chrome diplomatic vessel of Naboo’s monarchy. It is a fast, unarmed shuttle built for prestige, mobility and very public political moments.

Service history
The royal starship carried Queen Padmé Amidala off Naboo during the Trade Federation blockade in Episode I, slipping through orbital lines with the help of R2-D2. The same class of vessel returned Padmé to Naboo for her wedding to Anakin at the end of Episode II.
A J-type variant
A later J-type 327 silver variant was used by Padmé as Senator on Coruscant. It carries a similar profile but is more lightly armed and built for daily political work.
Why it matters
The royal starship is one of the strongest visual statements in the saga: a chrome arrowhead against the green of Naboo. It marks Naboo’s pre-Empire era and is the ship that quietly carries the story of the prequel trilogy across most of its key moments.
