A holocron is a Force-activated data crystal — a cube or pyramid that stores Jedi or Sith knowledge.

Opening

Only a Force user can open a holocron. Some holocrons demand a level of maturity: those who are not ready see nothing.

Why it matters

Holocrons are the cloud storage of Force tradition. Anyone who survives a canon-level war passes their knowledge to the next generation through them.
