Profile

Pasaana is the desert world of the Aki-Aki, who celebrate a massive 42-year festival of colourful kites.

Rise of Skywalker

In The Rise of Skywalker Rey’s crew lands right in the middle of that festival — and minutes later we get one of the saga’s best speeder chase sequences.

Why it matters

Pasaana is the rare Sequel world that isn’t a Tatooine clone. Vivid culture, peaceful species, completely original visual identity.
