Mustafar is a volcanic planet rich in minerals, home to various mining operations and the site of the final duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.

Geography

The planet’s surface is covered in rivers of lava, toxic atmospheres, and volcanic activity. Only the strongest can survive here.

The Battle of Mustafar

After discovering Padmé on Mustafar, Obi-Wan confronted Anakin. Their lightsaber duel along the banks of a lava river ended with Anakin’s defeat and near-death.

Vader’s Fortress

After his defeat, Darth Vader built a fortress on Mustafar, drawn to the planet where his old life ended.

Legacy

Mustafar represents the point of no return for Anakin Skywalker, the place where he became Darth Vader.
