Malachor

Profile

Malachor is a devastated Sith planet with an ancient Sith temple that doubles as a weapon of mass destruction.

Role in Rebels

Ahsoka, Ezra and Kanan seek a Sith weapon against the Inquisitors here. Instead Maul resurfaces — and Vader.

Ahsoka vs. Vader

In the temple Ahsoka realises Vader is Anakin. The duel and her presumed ‘defeat’ are among the most iconic images of Rebels.

Why it matters

Malachor is the mythological centre between Clone Wars and Rebels. Without Malachor the Ahsoka show does not work.
