Kijimi

Profile

Kijimi is an ice planet with a mountain town where smugglers, thieves and ex-pilots live — Poe Dameron’s former home base.

Sequel trilogy

In The Rise of Skywalker Poe meets his old crew (Zorii Bliss) here and a Sith dagger is decoded in the city.

Death

Allegiant General Pryde destroys Kijimi with a Sith-grade Star Destroyer weapon to set an example.

Why it matters

Kijimi fills a gap in Poe’s backstory and shows how brutal the First Order becomes.
