Jedha is a dry planet with vast desert areas and rock formations. The remains of the Jedi Temple rise from the sand. The city of Kreet was once a thriving trade center.

History

Jedha was once a holy planet for the Jedi. After the fall of the Jedi Order, the planet was occupied by the Empire. The spice mines and temple facilities made it strategically important.

Battle of Jedha

The Rebel Alliance conducted several operations against Imperial positions. Warrior monks like Chirrut Îmwe fought for the resistance.
