Dathomir

Profile

Dathomir is the red jungle planet of the Nightsisters — an all-female clan that channels dark side power through ancestral magic.

Maul’s homeworld

Dathomir is Maul’s birthplace. Here Mother Talzin reassembles him after Obi-Wan cuts him in half.

Clone Wars

Dooku orchestrates an almost total massacre of the Nightsisters — a genocide that makes the Clone Wars darker than most viewers realise.

Why it matters

Dathomir is the source of many dark-side teachers in the saga. Without Dathomir there is no Maul, no Ventress, no Savage Opress.
