Cantonica

Profile

Cantonica is the desert world built around the mega-resort city of Canto Bight — Star Wars’s own Monaco of casinos and yachts.

The Last Jedi

In The Last Jedi Finn and Rose travel here to find a codebreaker. They learn what the galaxy hides: the rich exist — and most made their money selling weapons to both sides.

Fathier racing

The iconic horse-aliens are abused in the arena here — a key thematic image about slavery and exploitation.

Why it matters

Canto Bight is the only Sequel world that shows the economic system of Star Wars: war is a business, and both sides pay the same vault.
