Yoda
Profile
Yoda was the Grand Master of the Jedi Order and one of the most powerful and wise Jedi in the galaxy. He trained Jedi Knights for over 800 years and went into exile on Dagobah after the fall of the Republic.
Early Life
Little is known about Yoda’s origins. His birth planet is not mentioned in any account, but he became part of the Jedi Order on Coruscant, where he quickly became the brightest student of his generation.
Jedi Master
As Grand Master, Yoda led the training of Jedi Knights for nearly 800 years. His students included Count Dooku (before his fall to the dark side) and Mace Windu.
The Fall of the Republic
During the Clone Wars, Yoda served as Supreme Commander of the clone army. When Darth Sidious (hidden in Senator Palpatine) revealed his plans and founded the Empire, Yoda barely survived the storming of the Jedi Temple.
Exile on Dagobah
After his escape from Kashyyyk, Yoda hid on the swamp planet Dagobah, where he waited for the end of the Empire. There he trained Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Force.
The Way of the Force
Yoda taught that the dark side is no solution for balance. He emphasized the importance of humility, patience, and self-sacrifice in service to others.
Cultural Significance
Yoda became one of the most iconic figures in film history. His unique speaking style (“Most powerful Jedi, difficult to train”) and his wisdom have made him immortal.
