Early Life
Jango was born on Concord Dawn and was adopted by the Mandalorian Jaster Mereel after his parents’ death. He learned Mandalorian combat techniques and became one of the best fighters of his time.
Bounty Hunter Career
Jango Fett was one of the most wanted bounty hunters in the galaxy. His armor made of special Mandalorian ferrocarbide and his ethics made him a formidable opponent.
The Clone Template
Count Dooku hired Jango to serve as the genetic template for the Grand Army of the Republic. Jango agreed on the condition that he could keep an unaltered clone — Boba Fett — as his own son.
The End
Jango Fett was killed in the arena on Geonosis by Mace Windu while trying to protect his son Boba. His death was the beginning of Boba Fett’s own legend.
