Grand Admiral Thrawn (full name Mitth’raw’nuruodo) was a Chiss and one of the most brilliant strategists of the Galactic Empire. His unorthodox methods and deep understanding of art and cultures made him one of the most dangerous enemies of the Rebellion.

Origins

Thrawn came from the ice planet Csilla in the Chiss Ascendancy. He was exiled from his homeland for unknown reasons and entered the service of the Empire, where he rose through brilliant military victories to the rank of Grand Admiral.
